This page describes the information Sikh Center(“we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We collect only what we need to operate the service.

Information you provide

• Account: email address, password (hashed), display name.
• Profile: gender, date of birth, location, education, profession, religious practice, photos, and the description you write about yourself and what you’re looking for.
• Messages and interest signals you send to other members.
• Payment details handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see your card number.

Information collected automatically

• Basic device and browser metadata (for security and abuse prevention).
• Aggregate usage analytics (page views, feature usage). No cross-site tracking.

How we use your information

• Operate the service (show your profile to relevant members).
• Communicate with you about your account and the service.
• Investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, and harassment.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data. We do not share profile details with third-party advertisers. We do not use your messages or photos to train AI models.

Who can see your profile

By default, your profile is visible to other signed-in members of Sikh Center. It is not indexed by search engines. You can hide your profile at any time from Settings.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from the Settings page or by emailing privacy@sikhcenter.com. Account deletion is irreversible.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and personally identifiable information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
